Taco Bell Beef in Slow Cooker
I looooove Taco Bell. I wish I could eat it on a regular basis. That beef is unlike any other, and no, I don't want to watch a documentary on how it's grossly made. I'm excited to announce I've figured out a way to make it at home - not grossly - and I'm telling you, if you close your eyes you might think you're sitting on those plastic purple & turquoise chairs. What a daydream! Leave it to my trusty slow cooker to achieve that perfect consistency for the beef. And if you're reading this like my mom saying "ew Maryly, fast food is disgusting!" well you will love this taco beef too! Slow cooking it ensures it will turn out perfect every time and you don't have to worry about keeping it warm while everyone takes their time through the taco bar line!
1 lb lean ground beef (or turkey)
1 can tomato sauce
1 large family size packet (or 2 normal packets) taco seasoning *I like Lawry's brand
Mix all in a slow cooker and set on LOW for 4 hours.
Makes enough for 8 tacos.
